Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio and she continued her interest in the stage. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before trying out for film and TV roles. Anna's first big part was Arden on Down the Shore. She was in 29 episodes. At the beginning of 1990, she was a frequent actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was her role on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a part of her acting career. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers.
